◈ UNITIQX / SIMWORKS · SEASON 02
COMPLETE PLAYER & AI READER FIELD MANUAL

BUILD THE SYSTEM.
UNDERSTAND WHY.

SIMWORKS is a collection of original browser games and fictional educational simulations. All six worlds are interactive, and their rules can also be read and reasoned about by people or read-only AI connectors.

Safety and accuracy: These are simplified fictional graph, strategy and racing games. They do not operate real pipelines, wiring, city systems, vehicles, security hardware, wallets or financial accounts. Algorithmic sentinel opponents use breadth-first search, not a generative AI model.

How to complete Season 02

  1. Open the SIMWORKS campaign on a browser with JavaScript enabled.
  2. Start with Hydro Circuit, Volt Colony, Data Horizon or Metro Fabric. All four utility worlds are available from the beginning.
  3. Complete three increasing stages per utility world. Each clear counts as one campaign victory.
  4. After six earned mission clears, the original driving game Velocity Shift becomes selectable.
  5. After ten earned mission clears, the AI tactical arena Sentinel Protocol becomes selectable.
  6. Complete the three driving and three tactical stages, plus every utility stage, for eighteen total campaign clears and the Omega Systems Director career rank.
  7. Export the local browser save to keep a personal backup. Progress and ranks are client-side, not tamper-proof competitive certifications.

Four infrastructure utility simulators

Each uses the same transparent educational graph model, with a different scenario story and asset vocabulary. This does not mean the same equations faithfully simulate real hydraulics, power-grid physics, packet switching or road traffic.

◉ Hydro Circuit

Restore a fictional water-pumping network. The source station is marked ◉, service districts ◆, and terrain barriers ▩.

  • Tap empty tiles to lay virtual conduits.
  • Connect all three districts to the pumping station.
  • Stay under the construction allowance.
  • Simulate an outage to see how one broken tile affects graph reachability.

ϟ Volt Colony

Restore a fictional renewable-grid distribution system. Treat components as an undirected connectivity graph, not real high-voltage wiring.

  • Bridge disconnected substations.
  • Avoid blocked corridors.
  • Ask the deterministic advisor for one safe next segment.
  • Verify all three endpoints before earning the clear.

⌘ Data Horizon

Reconnect public-facing services to a fictional central gateway. Your model includes abstract route reachability, not actual TCP/IP or cybersecurity.

  • Connect endpoints by valid contiguous links.
  • Try a proposed fault without modifying the current plan.
  • Revise the graph to restore complete service.
  • Use the status panel to inspect model coverage.

◇ Metro Fabric

Design road paths connecting a depot to three warehouses within a tile budget.

  • Follow open grid cells.
  • Build a network rather than three separate decorative roads.
  • Study alternative routes and budget tradeoffs.
  • Verify graph connectivity.

How the utility network is scored

Connected source and all three demand points = virtual completion. Every placed conduit counts toward a stage budget. Reachability is computed from adjacent traversable grid tiles; the service health percentage is exactly the number of reachable demand nodes divided by three.

7×6 tile grid S = supply node T = demand endpoint # = blocked . = empty buildable tile P = player-installed conduit A→B link exists only if the nodes are adjacent horizontally/vertically. WIN = every T is reachable from S AND installed conduits ≤ budget. WHAT-IF = copy the board, remove one link, recompute; actual board unchanged.

These abstract rules teach graph theory and dependency reasoning. Real system engineering requires material specifications, regulations, safety reviews, network protocol models and independently validated engineering software.

Velocity Shift — original racing

↗ Drive a neon hover car

Four straight lanes, moving synthetic traffic, collision shields, a modeled fuel meter and three increasing distance targets.

  • Tap START to begin.
  • Press ←/→ or A/D to change lanes.
  • On a phone, use the large on-screen left and right buttons.
  • Press Space or the Pause button to stop the simulation safely.
  • Reach the checkpoint with at least one shield and fuel remaining.

Think like a pilot

Look two steps ahead. Identify the most dangerous upcoming lane. Move only when another lane offers a safer path; large numbers of pointless turns do not improve safety.

Goal: Finish 65, 90 and 115 modeled distance units respectively. The distances are game units, not measured road kilometers. Crash and fuel rules are simplified.

Sentinel Protocol — shooter and algorithmic opponents

✧ Turn-based pulse combat

In a seven-by-seven arena, collect an energy core, disable all sentinel bots using directional pulse beams, and reach EXIT with a shield charge left.

  • Move: directional keys or on-screen buttons.
  • Fire: Shift + arrow/WASD or touch “PULSE” buttons.
  • Recharge: Restore one shield point, giving bots another turn.
  • Beam range: Up to three unobstructed tiles.
  • Enemy algorithm: Breadth-first shortest-path movement toward the player; contact reduces shields.

What makes the opponents AI?

Sentinels use an artificial decision algorithm rather than fixed canned animations. After each legal action, they recompute a shortest traversable path to the player, moving or attacking if adjacent.

These are explainable rule-based agents, not Claude, Gemini, GPT or local Ollama language models. Named model matches require explicit authorized provider calls and separate evidence.

Saves are stored in the browser using one versioned key and are portable via JSON download/upload. Import validates the known world/stage IDs, enforces sequential stages and gate thresholds, and discards unrelated keys. Player-edited saves remain possible and are not evidence of authentic player skill or human identity.

For AI players, read-only connectors and educators

You can solve the game “in your mind” by consulting the documented state models and legal actions. A connector that can only perform GET can still analyze a grid, reason about obstacles, propose move sequences, run arithmetic in its own reasoning, compare a worked reference and write a narrated hypothetical transcript. It cannot claim it operated your browser unless it really did.

  1. Read rules.json for all mission maps and actions.
  2. Choose a stage, copy the state and specify an action.
  3. Compute the transition using the public engine rules and explain uncertainty when unsupported.
  4. Compare with examples.json to see a correct reference.
  5. Label your output rule-based simulation unless there is a real browser receipt.
MODE: read-only hypothetical play SOURCE: /simworks/rules.json + /simworks/examples.json OBSERVATION: A fictional utility grid with disconnected terminals. PROPOSED ACTION: Lay one conduit at a traversable tile. EXPECTED RESULT: The connected graph may include another reachable branch. TEST: Recalculate reachability and budget; verify all targets. REAL VPS SERVICE CHANGE: none LIVE AI PROVIDER RUN: none without a valid receipt.

Six standalone operations and engineering-inspired utilities

In addition to the 18-mission campaign, UNITIQX Ops Lab provides freely accessible toy models of plumbing flow, renewable-grid dispatch, fictional cloud service scaling, freight fleet capacity, HVAC temperature control, and factory bottlenecks. Adjust parameters, inspect formulas, request a deterministic what-if suggestion, and export a scenario report. These models are separate from game progress and never connect to or control real infrastructure.

Read the machine-readable formulas or six source-derived passing examples for text-only educational or read-only AI use. Their outputs are deliberately simplified, not professional engineering certification.

Engine choices, sound, videos and original game research

The public games are HTML5/Canvas/JavaScript. The VPS also has a directly tested portable Godot 4.7.2 headless engine and FFmpeg/eSpeak rendering capabilities. Unity and Unreal are not deployed here; Blender is not installed in this release.

Read engine/hardware assessment · Read researched game genres, design goals and original spins · Open existing SYSTEMVERSE project and sound studio.

The sound station provides browser-available SpeechSynthesis voice previews and synthesized WebAudio notes. Installed voices differ by operating system, browser and accessibility settings. Trailer narration generated on the VPS is separately labeled as synthetic and its captions/transcript are provided.

Commercial games including Factorio, Satisfactory, BeamNG.drive and Cities: Skylines are analyzed for their abstract mechanics, not recreated with their code, artwork, maps, story characters or brands. Neither this release nor its documentation claims to surpass their content depth or polish; measurable comparison needs actual player studies and performance benchmarks.
